Escuela de Surf FuerteventuraWe are a Surf school located in Fuerteventura, in the Canary Isles, a paradisiacal spot considered the Mecca of European Surf. That’s why, so that our students can enjoy the surroundings, we have a surf house where they can stay while they having class.
Surf is what motivates us and if there is something we are clear about at Free Surfers School it is that it is not just a sport, but a way of living: It takes us away from stress and allows us to come into direct contact with nature. And there’s no better place to do so than Fuerteventura where sun and warm water are guaranteed 365 days of the year.
Surfers from around the world come to our land to enjoy this amazing environment, and we want to put it on a plate for you so that you come here and experience it first hand. You will surf in The Canaries using top quality equipment under the supervision of the Qualified Instructors from the Surf Spanish Federation.

José Luis Izaguirre is the tip of the iceberg formed by great professionals which make up the Free Surfers School team.
Our passion is surf and that is why we strive to teach our students how to stand up on the board while greatly respecting the ocean and the other surfers sharing their environment. We have to take care of our home.
Our commitment is to your learning and regardless what level you are at, technique, safety and theory are the main concern at Free Surfers. No point break will escape us! Come to Fuerteventura and discover what, at the end of the 50s, led young surfers to try their luck in the waters of Hawaii: warm temperatures and warm waters. The fact is surf was invented in places like this so that it could be enjoyed every day of the year and avoiding injuries.
